KMML has successfully completed pilot plant for making nano metal oxide (nano rutile titanium dioxide) of capacity 10T/annum on 19th July 2011. The synthetic route for the process was developed by in house R&D and a patent has been filed for the same. The pilot plant is the first of its kind in India for making metal oxide nanoparticles in the commercial scale. The titanium dioxide nanoparticles is made from titanium oxy chloride and KMML has set up a pilot plant for making it of capacity 20T/annum. In India Titanium oxy chloride is not manufactured for sale and this is the first plant in India were titanium oxy chloride will be synthesized in commercial scale for sale.
