KMML will implement more Green Technologies soon: Managing Director
KMML Managing Director N.R.Subramaniam has reiterated that company is committed to achieve zero percent effluent discharge and reduce carbon emission by adapting Green technologies. By the implementation of the GREEN technologies, energy consumption can be reduced considerably. Managing Director was inaugurating the seminar ‘HARITHAABHAM- 2011’, conducted by KMML with the assistance of Ministry of Environmental and Forest, Government of India. Company is considering all options to make its operations environment friendly. As part of this programme saplings were planted in KMML Titanium Sponge Plant by the Managing Director. C.J. George(ED, KMML) presided over the meeting. Suresh Kumar(ED, TSP) delivered the key note address. Krishnan Nair (AGM), V. Sivarajan (DM [P&A]), Trade union leaders R.Jayakumar and Satheesh Chandra Babu were felicitated. Project Trainees of KMML attended the seminar. PRO K.M.Anil Muhammad welcomed the participants and C.Harilal delivered vote of thanks.
Dr.Muralidharan Nair (Director, CPCRI), Krishnan Nair [AGM] and Abdul Basheed (Engineer, TSP) presented papers on ‘Environment conservation through effective Water management’, ‘Bio-diversity Conservation’ and TSP- an Environment friendly plant’ respectively.
