The Kerala Metals and Minerals Limited has registered an all time record in its monthly profit in May 2010, touched Rs.13.30 Crores. The previous monthly profit record was in March, 2009, when the figures touched Rs.13.13 Crores.
This was achieved in the face of hike in electricity charges and sharp rise in prices of all raw materials.
The KMML Managing Director N.R. Subramaniam said that the achievement could be registered mainly because of the cooperation of the entire KMML employees and the strategies employed by the company in the Production and Marketing sector. Mr. C.J.Geroge, Executive Director said that the company expected the profit to cross Rs.130 Crores during 2010-2011.
