All-time record for KMML in Production
and Marketing
The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. (KMML) has achieved all-time records in the production and marketing of Titanium pigment, Zircon and Rutile during the financial year 2009-10.
The TP (Titanium Pigment) Unit and the MS (Mineral Separation) Unit of the company had set many records in last year also.
In Titanium pigment production the company created an all time record of 35,930.8 MT when compared to 35,517 MT during the year 2008-09. The company marketed 32,009 MT in the internal market of the country when compared to 31787 MT in the previous year is also an all time record.
The MS Unit of the KMML has produced 2,592 MT Zircon which is an increase of 146 MT compared to last year. The company could market 2,601 Zircon during the year.
In the rutile production the company created an all-time record by producing 3,211 MT surpassed 2,632 MT produced in the year 1984-85. The turn over of the company in the last financial year was Rs. 483 crore is also an all time record .Annual profit of the Company is Rs. 90 crore
