The Government of Kerala (GOK) proposes to setup a Mineral Sands downstream products based
Industrial Complex in Kollam District, Kerala. With this objective in mind, the GOK proposes to get a
market study conducted for the following broad product lines:?
• Titanium metal based products which can be manufactured as downstream products of the
existing Titanium sponge manufacturing facility of M/s. The Kerala Minerals and Metals
Limited (KMML), Chavara.
• Mineral based (Zircon, Rutile & Sillimanite) value added products from arising from Mineral
Separation plant of M/s. KMML.
• Downstream value added products other than Titanium Dioxide Pigment and Titanium
Sponge from Titanium Tetrachloride
