The commitment to society as practiced by KMML has been a real trend setter in the State.

KMML operates as a responsible corporate citizen, utilising its resources for the development of the local community. The company lends top priority in employing the local people and also in suitably compensating / employing the people whose lands were/are acquired by KMML. Of its total employee strength of 1770, 1067 are local people who were affected by the project. This represents 60% of the total employee strength.

A number of social welfare schemes are envisaged and executed taking into consideration the needs and aspirations of the local people. Some of such welfare measures being carried out for local people are listed below.


 

Drinking water supply to the local public
